Mozart: The Sonata Project - Salzburg Yundi (piano)
Yundi opens his album Mozart Sonatas with the Sonata K. 331, made famous by the lively Rondo alla turca, followed by the Sonata K. 310 in A minor, which reflects Mozart’s grief after the death of his mother. After the Fantasia for Piano K. 475, Yundi concludes his album with the forward-looking Sonata K. 457, which not least influenced the giant Beethoven.
