Thomas Langhoff staged the work - a witty satire about the triangular relationships of the protagonists Susanna, Figaro and Count Almaviva.

Pape as Figaro, Emily Magee in the role of Countess Almaviva and Peter Schreier as her husband, to name just a few of them, is under the musical direction of Daniel Barenboim, who went from the Staatskapelle Berlin to chief conductor in 2000Sound Format: Dolby AC3 5.1
